How Statepolitan handles personal data and cookies on this website.

Last updated 3 November 2026 | Version 2026-11-03

In brief

  • We collect only what you give us in an enquiry, and basic visit data from cookies.
  • We use it, with your consent, to respond to you and to run this website, and to send you updates only if you ask for them.
  • We never sell personal data.
  • You can ask to see, correct or erase your data, and withdraw consent, at any time.

Who we are

Statepolitan LLP (“Statepolitan”, “we”), of Mumbai, India, is the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through statepolitan.com. Abhay Agrawal is the Principal.

What we collect

From you

  • Your salutation, first and last name, email address and telephone number, including its country code.
  • The location of interest you select, and anything you choose to write.

From your visit

  • The pages you view, your device and browser, the site you came from and an approximate location from your network address.
  • Campaign details in the link you followed, such as UTM parameters and Google click identifiers, recorded with your enquiry.
  • Your device’s time zone, used only to suggest a country code for your phone number. It stays in your browser.

Please keep identity documents and bank or card details out of the enquiry form. We do not ask for them here.

How we use and share it

We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you tick the first box on the enquiry form, and for the legitimate uses the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 permits, such as meeting a legal obligation. We use it to respond to your enquiry and prepare for the conversation you have asked for, to operate and secure the website, and to measure how it and our advertising perform.

A second, optional box on the form asks whether you would like occasional updates on properties and markets. We send them only if you tick it. Every update carries an unsubscribe link, and you can also withdraw by sending us an enquiry.

Your details are read by Statepolitan and by the providers that process data on our behalf: hosting and email services, HubSpot (where enquiries and consent records are held), Google (measurement and advertising), and professional service providers. Public authorities receive them only where the law requires. Personal data is never sold. Some providers process data outside India; such transfers follow the Act and any restrictions notified by the Government of India.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Some remember that you have seen the cookie notice and carry details from the link you followed. HubSpot cookies record which pages you visit and the campaign that brought you here, and link them to your enquiry if you make one. Where enabled, Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies measure visits and advertising performance. You can remove or block cookies at any time in your browser settings.

Keeping it safe

When you consent, we keep a record of it: the wording you were shown, the version of this policy in force, the page you were on, your browser, and the date and time. We keep that record for as long as we hold your data and for any further period the law requires, so that we can show how and when consent was given.

We keep enquiry details while they are needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting conversation, and erase them when that purpose is served or you withdraw consent, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Measurement data is kept for the period set in our analytics settings. The website is served over an encrypted connection, and access to enquiry details is limited to the people who need it.

This website is intended for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18. We will publish any change to this policy on this page and update the date above.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may:

  • Obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed.
  • Have your data corrected, completed, updated or erased.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it.
  • Nominate another person to exercise these rights if you are unable to.
